Tom has extensive and broad-based executive leadership experience with global-leading publicly listed corporations, not-for-profits, and international organizations.

Before joining Aligned Growth Partners, LLC, Tom served as the Chief Human Resources Officer with United Nations Peacekeeping Missions in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He also held the position of Vice President and other senior human resources executive leadership roles with Pulse Engineering, Inc., EMC, The Gillette Company, and Denso International America. Complementing these human resources roles, Tom also founded an executive search firm in Singapore and was the general manager of Gillette subsidiaries in Singapore and the Republic of Korea.

Tom’s corporate governance expertise includes serving on five boards of directors, including currently serving on the Board of the International Executive Resources Group (IERG) where he is a certified Senior Global Business Leader.

Tom was born in Japan and to date has lived in eight countries on four continents. In addition. Tom has traveled to, for work or pleasure, over 70 countries.

Tom holds a B.A., International Relations, from Pomona College and a M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
